The security of your data is absolutely paramount. Viewdata's responsibility to our clients is to provide a fast and efficient platform which offers maximum levels of redundancy for  data.  It is also highly recommended that the solution be of an industry standard which is therefore tried and tested by thousands of organisations.

Our most popular solution is IP Failover, this is based on Two Xserve's communicating to central storage such as the XRaid.

The first server will be replicated to a second server with a slightly larger storage capacity as an IP Failover solution with prior versions saved.  This means that if there are any hardware failures within the first server the second passive server will take over the original IP address and serve the data to the clients.  The synchronisation period between the two storage devices can be tailored to your needs but as an industry standard this normally is done every hour, meaning that in case of a disaster the data present will be a minimum of 1 Hour behind the current data set.
